the shiny gadget

I am the shiny gadget. You are afraid of being the old model from a few years back, the one worth looking at, for a discount; the one worth browsing at a flea market.

It was never intended to be this way. I don’t want to be the sparkling toy. The thing that’s only cool when it’s given less to run on, and more features. The moment I malfunction, they’ll send me back with the warranty.

In fact, I’m more bound to recommend the older product. I hear they’re more reliable and desperate.
